Gee, I guess I'll avoid it, too. Don't want hives, for sure.

I find that foxnews is pretty fair and balanced, and I check in at drudgereport now and then to see if he's got any new scoops. Drudge's site, although conservative, sometimes has stuff that goes against the conservative politicians. Its main value to me is the collection of links to various breaking stories, so it's a good way to stay in touch with various sources, such as some of the UK dailies for alternative views.

Other than that, I check the AP/UPI/Reuters wires at least once a day for headlines, and regularly read the excellent reporting of NY Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal.

All of these together give me, I think, a pretty good balanced feel for the news at any given time.
