Hi Tamar.
You have a point, but in the situation in Florida rules changed in the middle of the game. How many times are they going to change how they determine what is a vote? Gore is still trying to change the system in Floida because he feels the ballot interpretation isn't loose enough. Mr. Gore GET REAL!
If people had a change to cast their vote, how can you say they were disenfranchised? Anything more then that, it's responsiblity of each voters to make sure they have voted correctly, but voter mistakes happens in all elections.
I voted for Gore, although I usually vote Republican. I felt GW Bush lacked experience. But after seeing how each of them responded to this "crisis" I think I made the wrong choice.
IMO: It's time go move on. It real dosen't matter who the president is anyway.

>That doesn't necessarily make sense. Suppose (and I'm not saying this is the case here) the system that was in place prior to the election was, in fact, illegal. Suppose (and again, I'm not saying this is the case here - these are hypothetical situations) the county had adopted a practice that consistently disenfranchised certain voters. Would you still want an election determined that way?
>Of course, the courts have the right to take a look at this kind of stuff at any time and overrule any inappropriate system or practice.
