They still had the heavy Republican and Cuban-American precincts (remember Elian) to count. Gore knows he really doesn't want that hand count. We just need to move on and get W in the W House.
Then by all means, let's get the hand recount over with. Unless of course, George W. is worried he didn't really win < g >.
