Hi David,

"file near extension and function" brought up a list of 49 topics, if you look through the ones with () in the topic name you get to a pretty short list of the intrinsic functions. The same search criteria could be used on the full MSDN collection but then you'd have to filter out the non VFP chaff.

Where do I learn to construct search strings like that? How does the search engine know that 'near' and 'and' are not strings to be searched? Are they defined keywords? If so, where do I find that list?
