>Having been out in the car listening to a couple of talk shows on NPR, I'm now convinced that, in fact, the reason many people want Gore to concede is that they're bored with this and ready to move on to the next thing. The number of comments I've heard along the lines of "it's been three weeks since the election already. We need a president." is astonishing. Our society seems to require instant gratification.
