Where is this code that is getting executed to disable the button. Is it inside a method of a container that holds the vcr buttons?

If so it should work. It appears that it may be in the button itself thus THIS.BUTTON would not work.

Use the 'object list' and locate the button you are referencing and you will quickly see your problem.

If you are not familiar with the 'object list' you can get to it by right clicking inside your code window you are working in.
