i have an app housed on W2k prof and accessed by pc'c running w95 and w98 peer to peer over 100 ethernet lan through a hub using NetBEUI. everything will work fine for days and then all of a sudden only 1 pc will be able to work in a form at a time. in other words, all of a sudden it is not multi-user anymore. sometimes if you reboot the whole lot it will come right and sometimes not and sometimes it will spontaneously go back to working correctly. nowhere in the code anywhere is there anything that changes 'set exclusive' to 'on' without setting it 'off' again. if anyone has 'been there - done that', i will be pleased to hear!
