Hi!

I upgraded a sever from 8.0.5 to 8.1.6.

The old client use the client package from 8.0.5 and can connect with external auth. without any problem.

The new clients have 8.1.6 client installed and can no longer connect with the new client software. Is there any special settings I should be aware off?

I already checked sqlnet.ora which says:
SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NTS)

Oracle support suggested I create a key
in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ORACLE\HOME0
Called:
OS_AUTH_PREFIX_DOMAIN=FALSE

But this also did not work any ideas?
