I suggest you upgrade. The cost is minimal.
As with any new release there are bound to be bugs. At last count, there were 31 bug fixes posted on the web site for the initial build (10/09/2000). Depending on when you get the software, the next release (which will include these fixes) may be available. Otherwise, you have to correct them yourself.
