That's just fine, except that the ruling authority here, the US Constitution, says that the STATE LEGISLATURE shall choose the electors. SO no later than 11:59PM Dec 11, the Florida Legislature will authorize the electors. There are no conditions on this set forth in the Constitution. So they will be totally justified in whatever they do.
