The courts gave until 5 pm on Sunday to complete the recount and that is what she stuck to. Isn't that the time frame that was given to have the recount completed? It would not have been right to take a partial count of what was completed by 5 that day. Wouldn't that have been more incomplete than the original count was supposed to be?

I tend to agree with that. Now let's apply the same logic to the justices and conclude that they can be registered democrats and still do their job right, right?.

What I don't see right is that she told one county they were not supposed to be doing a recount when it wasn't her place to be saying that. We'll see today if that could have given Gore the upper hand when Palm Beach county releases the results of the completed manual recount.
