How do you change a COLUMN'S value in one FORM from ANOTHER?

I have two FORMS. The first one is opened and displays a GRID. I need the second FORM to get a value from a table and REPLACE a VALUE in GRID's COLUMN in the first FORM. Code samples would be helpful...thanks
