Thank you for the information. I was using winzip, but I do remember seeing the option for 8.3 and it may have been activated. I deleted the securit.vcx and when the errors came up I located and pointed to the security.vcx file each time. This problem has now gone away.
My next problem appeared after adding a business object to page 4 of a page frame. As soon as the form is run a system error is displayed: Error # 1, Message: File 'PARENT' does not exist.
