Yeah, that's an interesting one. I don't know what the law says about "filling out" absentee ballot requests. I've heard some news reports stating that the only people allowed to fill out the requests for a voter are relatives or legal guardians.
However, the Democratic Party evidently sent out pre-printed request forms also, which had the voters' registration numbers correctly printed on them. I guess that would also qualify as "filling out" the form, huh?
My GUESS is that the law probably deals with who can legally SIGN a request form. Otherwise, ALL of the pre-filled requests statewide would have to be brought into question.
Anyone want to offer your best GUESS about what the law really says?
