Touch screens mirror mouse functionality except that your finger is the mouse pointer.

Controls need to be oversized to accomodate fat fingers. Also it is a good idea (IMO) to stay away from drag and drop and scrolling because of the difficulty in keeping in constant contact with the monitor.
