Andy;
Yes, I would put Carter close to the bottom. Seems like Carter chose people from Georgia whom he owed political favors for his cabinet. Carter is an intelligent and kind person. As a President he was, to be kind, naive. Reegan, on the other hand searched for the best talent he could find. Most of all I remember LBJ for what he did to this country with our involvement in Viet Nam. We lost about 58,000 American’s and Viet Nam may have lost as many as 3 million. As a Viet Nam Vet, I get sick at the thought. Who knows how many lives were affected due to this one action from a man who made his own truth? One thing I have to give LBJ credit for is his ability to work with the Congress and House. In that regard he was outstanding, however I get sick remembering his words: "My friends and fellow Americans, President Kennedy would have wanted this"!
