If by "close" you mean "not close at all".. yeah. If somethings corrupting your DBFs you might hose your audit file too (its a DBF too, right?). Thats just one of the draw backs to a file based Data ENgine. ANyways, using FoxAudit as a recovery tool to corrupted data doesn't sound to enticing to me. Its just not designed to do that reliably, though, don't get m ewrong it does a great job at what its supposed to do.
