Well it *do* remember that FP 2.6 deos indeed have a limit of 2 gigs for *ANY* file or table, regardless of the actual size of your drive.

You may be on to something as regards redirectling TMPFILES. One thing I remember, but it *MAY* have been fixed in 2.6x, was that only the drive portion of a TMPFILES specification had any effect, the balance being ignored.

>Yeah I tried redirecting EDITWORK, SORTWORK, PROGWORK, and TMPFILES in all sorts of combinations to spread the working files out over both drives. Meanwhile my tech support guy is waving the NT install CD at me as he heads out the door for vacation. :-( I got first dibs on the hat!
