The "sintax error" is ocurring in the sql UPDATE statement that VFP automatically generate, based on the fields you have marked as updatable and key fields on view designer. I have experienced wrong error messages come from VFP when trying to update data through a view. The error was in some instruction and VFP gives wrong error messages. Why? I don't know...but when I delete the view definition from .DBC, pack DBC, and recreate view again, the errors blown down...
