Hi Dustin,

>What if I do move to SQL server. I'll probably be using remote views made in VFP to point to SQL tables. If I point my Crystal Reports to these VFP remote views will it be using Visual Fox's ODBC driver connection, or SQL's native?

SQL's native.

>I'm going to guess it'd be ODBC...so then I have to ask, is it wiser to access the SQL tables directly within Crystal Reports instead (which would then access SQL natively??)

It depends,

If you're still using VFP as a front end, You'll still be able to create FOX 2.x tables just as easy. In any way, with FOX 2.x tables, you'll probably have more power and performance. The decision is yours, but if you'll ask me, I'd go for FOX 2.x . When the time comes that ODBC via SQL might be better (I doubt it will be..) it is not too late to migrate.

Walter,
