Thank you for the assistance and information. I have tried to create another business object using different names. to check out your suggestion. The same problem occurs. So thinking that I have a global problem I tried my other project and your demo project projmgr6. After setting the default to the correct directory, running startmm and opening the Project to check that I am in the correct place I ran "do main" in each directory. In both cases it ran my problem project "Contracts" with the same error result! So I must have a pathing problem. I am studying the "setup.prg" code at the moment to see if I can find out what I have done. You may recognise the symtoms I have described! If so please let me know what my problem is.
