Probably. But as I said in my original post, I did notice once (I think when I fired up word with an OLE Bound Control??) that VFP opened word in a manner which could not be closed directly ... and the FILE/CLOSE menu option was replaced by something like FILE/QUIT to VFP or some such..??)

Was hoping there was an application. or document. property that somehow did the trick, but a search through the VB interface (in the Word, VB Editor), didn't lead me to anything.
