Eric,

I am not looking to start a flame war, just stating the obvious. Under the "Rules" section of the UT, it clearly states that the UT Administration will change a thread title to more accurately suit the subject matter when they see fit. It is not a member's responsibility to tell another member when to do this.

If a member has an issue with the title of a thread, and they want to make a comment on it, they should at the very least make this comment to the initiator of the thread, or the person who continues to post new questions under the same title, who in this case are one in the same person. Sending messages to those who are simply answering this persons questions serves no purpose at all. If still unsatisfied, send a message to a sysop to have the title changed. Seems pretty easy to me.

Now, you did send your request to the right person. No questions. My post was in response to Patrice, who, for some unknown reason, decided to send the same request to me. Her post was simply poorly directed. I guess I can live with that.

Patrice, perhaps I overreacted in my response to you. The intent of my statement about the member number was only to infer that I've been around since the beginning of the UT, I know the rules, and do not need to have them pointed out to me. If that came off a little harsh, as I think it did based on your response, I apolgize.
Phil
