There were good articles on MS TreeView in FoxPro Advisor January 1997 and FoxTalk June 1997.
I worked with 3 types of TreeView controls - MS TreeView, ctTree from DBI Technologies Inc. (www.dbi-tech.com) and ProtoView Data Explorer (www.protoview.com). IMHO, MS TreeView could be the best, if MS guys don't change that control all the time, and since it is common ActiveX in Windows,
nobody can guarantee that with installed by client new version of VB, for example, his VFP app will not loose some TreeView properties, or some its methods will not fail with VFP... :)
That was the reason that in current app I had to switch to ctTree control. ctTree is not that object oriented as MS TreeView or ProtoView, (it does not have Nodes collection as objects) but it is not a big deal. It has even better set of necessary properties and methods. Some things like making the parent node without actually adding child nodes is much easier than with MS one.
