Can't seem to pinpoint why the following happened with one of my databases:

1) Using the Import wizard I imported a comma-delimited (with ").
2) VFP created a FoxPro dbf file.
3) I then exported the dbf to a dbase5 file so I could import it into Access.
4) Imported the dbase5 file into Access.
5) Noticed that some fields had information removed because the field size was incorrect.
6) I checked the original text file and all the field information was present.

So the question is; what would I have done wrong in VFP that would have caused a smaller field size to be exported into the dbase5 file. I didn't do any work on the FoxPro dbf in between the importing of the text file and the exporting of the dbase5 file. Unfortunately I don't have the FoxPro dbf file to see if the problem occured when importing the text file.

Any ideas?
