Some of it will sink in if you read carefully and thoughtfully. I've long believed that immersion in good articles/books about unfamiliar subject matter will always produce a better overall understanding (very valuable when making strategic decisions) of the issues involved, even if the details are still confusing or just overwhelming.
My advice to everyone in this business is to read, read, read. Of course, I highly recommend that CoDe Magazine be at the top of the reading list, due to its broad and deep coverage of newer technologies.

I can say for sure that the two guys in charge of CoDe are genuine aliens. :-)
