I do not have a specific idea, bug I know where I'd start looking.

I'd start looking for API or WSH functions that open up a file dialog.

I'd be willing to bet that the getfile() function is just a wrapper for a WINAPI function that offers a lot of options as to how the dialog is first displayed.
