Quick answer: I have a SQL-Server project which links to 2 different SQL-Server databases written in VisualMaxframePro. Had to make a couple of very minor changes to keep two connections open/checked during saves/closed on exit. All of the connection code as well as the 'business objects' are in libraries, as their long-term plan (if money can found) is to put this on both desktop and Web based interfaces. The latest VMP works VERY smoothly with C/S, including some nice connection-checking code. I'm assuming the libraries can be used with whatever web-development software they end up using. I know they can with WestWind.

>We're using VPM6, and since we're going C/S and Web real soon now, we're considering several options. What we need is a strong n-tier framework (in the sense that it had n-tier in mind from the very start), to be somewhat lightweight (not necessarily, but assuming shorter learning curve), and somewhat that would be highly usable when its first tier is stripped off and replaced with a Web front (most probably ASP stuff, since the rest of the shop has already done lots of it in ASP/VB/SQL7/JS/VBS combination).

>Just kidding about the war, I just need more opinions, or pointers to threads where they were posted before. I've done some search, but didn't find what I was looking for.

>TIA, and may this thread not be too long.
