It does not have such built-in feature, but you can change background and foreground color of any node. This given me an idea: what if simulate multi-select manually? Say, in nodeclick event change back/fore color of clicked node. Than, you can loop through nodes and process thous nodes that have back color as selected. Looks easy to implement...
