Thanks again for your 'Clear debug' suggestion. I didn't get a single c0000005 error yesterday.

>Try CLEAR DEBUG at the command prompt. Some of the debugger configuration information is stored in the registry and deleting the resource file obviously doesn't affect that *s*. The clear will reset everything back to factory defaults. This has worked for me in the past.
