I agree, that's why I wrote my own RI builder which is far faster and more compact than the VFP one. But to be back on the issue, you do use a RI builder don't you ? Or do you write your own RI rules from scratch ??

>I have used the RI engine that is outlined in Jim Booth's and Steve Sawyer's book Effective Techniques for Application Development with Visual FoxPro 6.0. Very neat, clean and efficient. The RI engine in VMP is also table driven and documented very well.
