"The VFP Menu Designer does not allow input for this type of thing " - For the normally visible menu items (File, Edit, View etc.) yes I agree, but for the items on the pull-downs, it is possible to specify font information in the SKIP FOR clause, accessible by clicking on options. Simply add something like
.F. FONT "Courier New", 14 style "BI"
