The problem is that any app that you want to be completely polished, fast, and reliable would be better if written in VB or C++ or VFP.
And VFP has some bragging rights anyways. The Chunnel app, JFast for example. Ask JVP about the app he Rod and Jim built not all that long ago. He's been suggesting that its posisbly the largest VFP app ever built.
I think that if you want to impress manager types with a VFP app for the general public, it would have to be in the form of a web server.
