I've learned more about 'images' in VFP. Using any graphics program such as Paint or PaintshopPro, place an image in the clipboard. You can paste it in Word, and in virtually any other program. But the Edit menu in VFP is disabled. I also tried to simply 'highlight' the image object on a form to then Copy or Paste from the Edit menu. The image will not 'highlight'; suddenly it became clear why properties such as setfocus are not part of this object. The snag I ran into with your right-click idea is that there is no This.Value to place into _Cliptext other than the file name; the Edit menu will not enable as discussed above. If you have any other thoughts, I would certainly appreciate them. If I am being dense as a brick, please say so. My ego is not in this; I'm just looking for solutions. (This seems like a simple thing.) Thank you, though, for your reply.
