I need to send a Printer Control Code from within a Report (actually a label file). The control code that I want to send is CHR(16)

The label will have this in one of the lines
CHR(16) + “123456789” + CHR(16)

The problem is that the CHR(16) is getting translated some how some way to CHR(46) by the time it hits the printer.

Is there a way to send a non-printing control code to a printer from within a Label report?
