Well, I'll accept your withdrawal if you can give me a knowledgeable reference to the scriptural origins and accuracy of that statement. <g> (I've taken what I'd hope to be the 'new' conservative approach - go for the kill.. <g>)
Actually, it is an entirely incorrect thought process vis a vis the Historic Christian position, though sadly, with many of the more 'modern' interpretations of Biblical truths it is an apt assertion. Typically it is the pastor who is 'helping themselves' to the contents of someone's wallet... :(
If God owns the cattle on a thousand hills why do His representatives represent Him as being in the poor house?? Not good...
