Forms & Form designer
Thanks I'll take a look.
After messing with the server it appears my files (especially forms) have had there "Permissions" corrupted. Even as Administrator actually logged onto the Server I was unable to move or erase these files. Messages "Access Denied" etc..
It all appears to be the fact that Windows 2000 did not know whom the owner was. I simply removed the ownedship and re-delegated to administrator, allowed permissions again for Administrator and required Users groups and I was able to open my forms again! Unfortunatly I was unable to salvage every form because I had previously "tried" changing security permissions without re-delegating the ownership...opps not a change of recovering thoughs.
So in short. I wish I'd noted my steps more thoroughly in recovering the seemingly empty forms (tables were unrecoverable!) but it seems that when such like the workstation crashes the Ownership and / or security attributes of the file become damaged?!!
Thanks again
Justin
