>Let me add that the behaviour you explained only apply to VFP base class. If you create a class and you subclass it, unless you add a DODEFAULT() call in your subclass, the base class code for a given method will not execute as soon as you enter some code in that method. Even a comment will prevent the base class code to execute.

Excellent point! Glad you added that as I was only addressing NODEFAULT. Better to look at the whole picture and discuss the subject in a more total manner.
