Don't know whether you've gotten to this yet, but I tried it yesterday and had a disaster. One of the component updates trashed my network set-up. Fortunately, reinstalling drivers cured that.

Just the component update portion (on an NT4 SP5 machine) took several hours. I haven't yet been successful in installing only VFP7. I'll get back to it when I've regained some courage. <g>
