Use paramaterized views. This way just a few records are loaded.

>When I open a remote table in our accounting system through odbc it can take 5 to 10 minutes to get all the records. While the records are being loaded into the view the active form is pretty much disabled. You cannot interact with the form (ie. click on a button or minimize the form) until all the records from the remote view are loaded. How can this view be opened without disrupting any interaction with the form?
