Hi, everyone!
I am a new user of Visual Foxpro 3.0 Pro, slightly
disappinted with enclosed MS documentation. My application
requires creation of and access to user dependent tables and
I would like to take advantage of FoxPro macros. But there
seem to be some gray syntax areas.

Can anyone comment on the following syntax examples and how
they may affect their usage within procedures (all caps are
used for a string constant):

1. Are the two following always equivalent (unlike C syntax)?
a_table.a_field
a_table->a_field

2. Why in the first example below the dot gets ommited?
CELLAR&year.wine
CELLAR&year->wine

Thank you,
---Mark
