I probably am confusing myself by thinking too much of the old FoxPro way of doing things and trying to correlate
that to VFP. I think what confused me is that in the first form, I used SET STEP ON to trace the logic flow, and it
returned to that point after the second screen was displayed. I had expected the READ to stay on the second screen
until it was exited. I know that I am confusing myself somewhat.

What also threw me off was that my navigation buttons (next) are not displaying subsequent records from the table I
am displaying. This may just be a refresh problem, Idon' tknow yet.

What I need is a local user group here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I just haven't found one yet, but I'll keep looking.
