Forget my previous reply. After reading 'Cobol is dead!Long live Cobol!' thread all what I said is obsolete. Million records processed in 40 mins and IRS was impressed with the performance :) OK so you can even write a routine that would append from char by char and update the thermometer, playing music and animated gif in between :)
