Hmm... Well, there are a few things to check here. Is the machine on the same subnet as the rest of the machines? Is samba running? =) DO you have any shares defined? Are they public? If not, are you logged in as someone who has rights? Can you ping the machine? Can you access shares directly (\\server\share or \\serverip\share)?

It can. There is an option about domain logins.
