TO make my life a little simpler, I put empty copies of files in an archive, with wioth all the indexes.

These can be transfered to a site quickly too.

anyway, when I have a problem like yours, it is easy enough to append from the real data to the empty files, and I can even do the append with a data check !

This has sved me several times, major crashes turn into 5 minute tasks!

Yesterday we had a corrupted index, the first index record was the ONLY one being used, so the top record kept getting overwritten! System went dead slow, to, when we deleted that record!
