I believe Foxpro makes its decision about recompiling based on the date of the .fxp file versus the date of the .prg file.

If you have a really big project I guess you could simply delete all .fxp files.

I have been faced with the problem you are talking about on two or three occasions... and figuring out this kind of problem is UGLY.
but because the problem never reached 'epidemic' proportions relative to the amount VFP development I have done I never investigated why it happened.


I am at Yonge and Eglinton ... but i grew up in Mississauga.
