If you check Apply to PRG code in this editor dialog, it only applies subsequently opened PRGs that have not been added to the resource file (e.g., FoxUser).
To get it to work globally, you have to delete for id="WINDMODIFY" and "prg" $ Lower(name) from the resource file. Or zap the resource file.
The automatic compilation only occurs if a change has been made.

>Best thing is not to rely on it remember to compile all the files, or use the Project Manager's "Recompile all files" Build option. Also, doesn't SET DEVELOPMENT ON make sure you're running the latest version?

Recompile all in the project manager will recompile PRGs into the EXE or APP but it won't create or recreate FXPs.
Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
