>Well thanks for telling me how great it is... especially since I can't get it to install! "Hey! I got this AWESOME thing! What? You don't have it? Man! It's great!" hehehehe....
>I think the install script for the free version is the problem. The first thing it does is spit back some error about "expected integer" during the further decompression.

>>I purchased the WP8 CD and written documentation. But to install it on my SuSE I had to run the RH rpms!!! ;-)
>>WP8 under Linux is VERY NICE. The 700 page manual that comes with the $49 CDROM of the native Linux version is worth the $49. In our dept at work our 300 workstations are standardized on WordPerfect. The Linux version is almost indestinguishable from the Windows version. Only the motiff style gives it away.

I run SuSE, and WP8 is on the CD set. It installs with a single click using YaST. I think the SuSE dev team patches it to run with SuSE. When I mentioned using RH rpms that was because I decided to get the full boat and docs. So I purchased the Cd from LinuxMall for $49.
Ideas? It probably wouldn't do any good to email you the install script
that is on the commerical CD, but do you want to give it a try?
Other Idea: Buy the CD?
