Thanks again, Daniel. I'll return to this problem later, because I have other priorities right now. Basically my manager told me, that it's a great idea, but not for the first release. Therefore I have to postpone a little bit.

>I sent you a copy of the PRG and a screen shot to your email address. Most of the code is there simply to make the thermometer look good. Almost everything is done through Access methods. I only check for Escape in Percent_Assign but this is not a problem if the thermometer is refreshed often enough. As mentionned in my email, I ran into some problems with a Cancel button (the Click event was not processed quickly enough) and this was my quick workaround. This thermometer was developed because I did not like some of the code in the thermometer included in the Component Gallery (and the document is poor).
