Yes, I understand that. I am not debating which product will get me more jobs.
But simply, is there a tool out there that can do what WC can do? I am not familiar with the capabilities of ASP.

But Chris, that is precisely what I am debating. Sure, there is great technology out there. However, is it not important to use technology that can maximize your job prospects. Look, there are a lot of web-apps that get built using COM/ASP/SQL.
Hey, if you have 5 years worth of work in Web Connect - I say go for it. However, what happens if you are one of the many who find the job prospects getting thin??? What are your alternatives and options?
>>Bill yourself out as a web developer. Try peddling a VFP-based solution vs a VB/SQL/ASP based solution. Tell me how many jobs you get for each.

>>Web Connection is a great product. But, it is a VFP-based solution. And that in it of itself, will close a lot of doors. You do know how superficial many IT managers are - don't you.
>>
>>Again, it is not an argument soley about technology. Technology cannot be your only battle ground.

>>>How does all this relate to the Internet development? I, and I think many others, are so thoroughly impressed with Web Connection. Is there another product out there that can do what it does?
